PARENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Attend the required parent meeting one week prior to auditions.
Review participation materials with your student.
Make certain you both are able to meet the responsibilities.
Verify there are no known conflicts for "required" rehearsal dates.
During the final (tech) week we will need all actors and crew for every rehearsal and performance.
Report all potential student rehearsal conflicts.
We can work around most anything but we like to be able to plan around them.
Set realistic casting expectations for actors.
We give every student an opportunity to shine no matter what role they receive.
Pick up your student from rehearsal on time.
All parent chaperones must be a TPS approved volunteer.
A parent may be required to chaperone a certain number of rehearsals. This information is given at the parent meeting.
Parent must participate in one parent committee.
The director and parent producers are there to guide everyone.
There are options that can accommodate a variety of working schedules:
After show closes, families will assist with closing procedures.
Striking set, restoring space to pre-show condition, putting away chairs / tables, and other duties as assigned.
